Why is there a waiting list for students?
We want to avoid long wait times for your YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback. By joining the waiting list with your name university and email, you'll be contacted once we have a strong influx of professionals ready to review and provide feedback to you.
Since we've just launched, we're still building awareness of our brand. In time, we hope the waiting list will no longer be necessary.

Why do we ask students for the name of their place of study? (E.g. university)
This information helps us match you with a professional in the same time zone, potentially speeding up the feedback process for your YELLOW THOUGHTS submissions. Plus, this approach allows everyone to participate, regardless of the language they speak. Additionally, we're genuinely curious to see how far our service can reach across different cities and countries.
Why is YELLOW THOUGHTS exclusively for drawings that have no planned real-life application?
YELLOW THOUGHTS is not an architectural design service, we don't work on or provide feedback for projects intended for real-life implementation. It's essential that all drawings submitted from students are purely hypothetical and meant for your undergraduate or postgraduate portfolio.
Why do we ask professionals for company name details?
We take your privacy seriously. We understand you may prefer to provide your personal email rather than your work email (or vice versa), and we respect that choice. For the initial form submission, we require all fields to be completed to ensure professionals have the necessary experience to provide feedback to students.
When delivering YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback to students, we'd like to include your first name to make it more personable - that's if you're comfortable with that. If you prefer using just your initials, that's absolutely fine too.
The same goes for students. with your permission, we'd like to include your name when sharing your drawings with professionals to create a more personal connection. If you'd rather use just your initials, simply let us know.
Rest assured, under no circumstances will email addresses be shared with anyone. YELLOW THOUGHTS serves as the confidential go-between, ensuring a secure and private process for both students and professionals.
After YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback is given, all personal data from both professionals and students will be securely deleted. If you wish to participate again, all forms will need to be completed again. However, if a professional wants to offer feedback more frequently, they can let us know, and with their permission, we can securely retain their data for future involvement.
What happens after a student receives their individual YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback?
It's crucial for students to keep their original work. Please only submit copies of your drawings to YELLOW THOUGHTS. If you only want to share a specific section of a drawing rather than the entire piece, that's completely fine - as long as it provides enough context for the professional to offer meaningful feedback.
Why would students want to use YELLOW THOUGHTS?
Students, please don't expect lengthy essay-style feedback. YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback is intentionally kept bite-sized, confidential, supportive, and manageable.
We don't want any student to feel overwhelmed; our goal is to boost your confidence with actionable feedback that you can choose to implement. There's never any judgement - just helpful insights designed to support your individual growth.
Why do we ask for professionals to lend a hand?
Quite simply, we can't do it without your invaluable support. Your expertise can provide a crucial boost of confidence to students who may be doubting their abilities - it's something we've all faced at some point! Could you spare up to 30 minutes of your time (whether just once or more, if you'd like)? We'd be incredibly grateful.

What does YELLOW THOUGHTS do with students work?
After a student receives their tailored YELLOW THOUGHTS feedback, we securely and intentionally delete all submitted drawings.
Please note that YELLOW THOUGHTS cannot take responsibility for any drawings provided to us. Once deleted, we are unable to retrieve it. It's essential that students only submit copies of their work and ensure they keep their originals safe.
